Welcome to the Dalcroze Society of Canada Website!
Founded in 1975 under the name Canadian Dalcroze Society (Ontario Chapter), the Dalcroze Society of Canada (DSC) is a community collective dedicated to the purpose of promoting and developing the artistic and pedagogical principles of Émile Jaques-Dalcroze in Canada. This is achieved through educational workshops and courses, publications, consultative assistance, and the encouragement of local chapters throughout Canada.
The DSC is unique in that it offers Certification Training for those interested in becoming qualified Dalcroze teachers in Canada.
